One of my most memorable experiences was being part of the production team in which Michael Cockrell was the host of ‘Havering Asks’ Influenced by Question Time, Havering Asks involved three schools coming to Havering College to asks education related questions to a panel of five.
Below are the roles of a traditional multi camera production, my production team and I assigned each other some of these roles:
Sound engineer
Gaffer
Production Manager
Production Assistant
Technical director
Director
Video Tape Operator (VT)
Vision Mixer
Boom operator
Camera Operator/Cinematographer/Videographer
Floor Manager
Graphics Coordinator
After my production team and I assigned each other individual roles,we carefully planned out:
-The layout of the stage
- The audiences seats
-Where the cameras would go to capture the best shots and remain hidden from each other at the same time

Because of our cautious preparation and commitment to our roles Havering Asks was amazingly successful.
